The smell of cakes still reaches us. Thank you to the pupils of Lukšių Vincas Grybas Gymnasium for providing cakes and thoughts for children with oncological diseases, and to the teachers for their compassion and tolerance. We send our sincere thanks and warm hugs to you.
Today, activities to mark Tolerance Day took place in the gymnasium. The youngest children - preschoolers "Smalsiukai", pre-schoolers and first-graders - made a symbol of the Tolerance Day - a house out of paper. The dancers danced the friendship dance "I see you". And most importantly, pupils from grades 2 to 3g sold their baked cakes. We will donate the collected funds to the charity and support foundation "Rugutė", which provides all kinds of help to children with oncological diseases.🥐
There is a joyful excitement in seeing children helping children. Then you realise how strong, empathetic, sensitive, creative and united they all are, and how they are able to move mountains and overcome even the most difficult obstacles. It's good to see such a cool young generation growing up!
15 November On November 15, Kaunas Jurgis Dobkevičius Progymnasium was filled with the smell of cakes - a traditional kindness campaign was organised for the sick children of Rugutė Foundation. Students from all grades bustled around with their baked cakes at the "Cake Day" fair. Our vendors were as creative as possible in selling their baked goods to raise as much money as possible for a worthy cause - to give back to the Rugutė Foundation to help children with oncological diseases. This Friday, 18 November at 15:00. During the event, all donations - 1700,- Euros will be handed over to the Rugutė Foundation. Nuoširdžiai dėkojame visai bendruomenei už aktyvumą, kūrybiškumą, nuoširdumą ir susitelkimą 🙏 Gerumas mus jungia!

It is said that early childhood is the time when key skills and habits are formed. It is encouraging to see that more and more educational institutions are actively shaping the model of a sensitive and empathetic society by nurturing kindness in the hearts of children.
Our warmest thanks go to the community of Kaunas kindergarten "Rokutis". Thank you for the compassion that touches our hearts, thank you for the smile of a sick child when she reaches the most advanced nursing care in time, and thank you for the most important weapon in her fight against the disease - medicines.
Thank you also for taking care of our beloved Liepa a dozen years ago.
ROKUČIO community once again proved how united and focused we are to achieve noble goals 🤗❤️ Thanks to the baked cakes, the warmth of our hearts and the kindness of our donors, we have raised 783.66 EUR, which we will donate to the Charity and Support Fund "Rugutė" ❤️ THANK YOU to everyone who gave their time, baked cakes and donated 🍰🥰
It's good to see communities of the youngest children joining in the goodness of Cake Day. We send a warm hug and a heartfelt thank you to the Kaunas kindergarten "Pasaka".
Thank you for your communion, for the miracle that makes it possible to believe again. To believe and to thank you with all my heart for your support.
Today is #PyragusDay in Kaunas kindergarten "Pasaka". 🥧 For our community, the smell of the miracles means togetherness, a coming together to help children who have been diagnosed with a complex illness. 🍰But the most important message of the day is that everyone who bakes or tastes the delicacies will feel support for a child affected by a serious illness and will share the belief that even the biggest obstacles can be overcome (Rugutė, 2022). ✨️Atjautos, the feeling of closeness and togetherness is strong and this is proved by the 654 euros raised by OUR INSTITUTION THANKS TO THE COMMUNITY. FOR CHILDREN WITH COMPLEX ILLNESSES🎉🎉 💖Thank you💖 for your kindness and responsibility for those around you.✨️ PS. Thank you to the active mothers for their help and to Rūta Pultinevičienė for counting the money.
How good to be able to give so much thanks in the second week! How nice to know that there are so many people in Lithuania for whom doing good is simply good!
Warmest words go to the community of the VMU School of Classical Education. Thank you for your hands of kindness, the hope you send to sick children, and the belief that the world must and can be better!
On Monday, a spirit of togetherness swept through the school as we shared wonderful treats and lent a helping hand to those in need. Perhaps sharing a cake is sharing the hope that the world can be a better place if we see someone else around us. All funds raised - 812 euros! - We are handing over to Rugutė, an organisation caring for children with oncological diseases, and to the children for whom the only thing sweeter than a cake is a childhood without illness... Thank you to all of you who remained indifferent! 🙏💜
Our sincerest thanks and warmest hugs go to the departments of Kaunas Technology Training Centre. Thank you for your hard-working hands and big hearts, where compassion, love and kindness live. Thank you for dedicating a part of yourselves to the little ones - children with oncological diseases.
Cake Day at Kautech branches 🥧🧁🍰 The funds raised were donated: Rugutė Charity and Support Fund for children with oncological diseases 🤍 Supporting the "Fill the gap" project, which supports sick children and orphanages🤍
"Alone we are just little droplets... Together we are the whole sea!" - says the community of Kaunas Pilėnai Progymnasium.
It would probably be very difficult to say it more beautifully and aptly. Thank you sincerely for letting your school's sea join the ocean of Cake Day kindness that brings the most favourable wind to the little Captains' boats!
Thank you for your creativity, activism and unity. Thank you for your great kindness!
15 November The corridors of Kaunas Pilėnai Progymnasium were filled with the smell of cakes baked by pupils, their parents and teachers, and the "Cake Day" fair was bustling. All the students tried to present their treats in the most original way and sell as many as possible for a noble cause - to donate the money raised to the Rugutė Foundation and thus help children with oncological diseases. We sincerely thank the whole community for their activity, creativity, sincerity and focus. Kindness unites us.
We are enjoying the unabated wave of cake day. On its crest is the Kaunas "Saulės" gymnasium community. On their Facebook account, we read their words: "Kindness makes us happier because we care about children who are sweeter than cake - just a childhood without diseases..."
