There is a joyful excitement in seeing children helping children. Then you realise how strong, empathetic, sensitive, creative and united they all are, and how they are able to move mountains and overcome even the most difficult obstacles. It's good to see such a cool young generation growing up!

It is said that early childhood is the time when key skills and habits are formed. It is encouraging to see that more and more educational institutions are actively shaping the model of a sensitive and empathetic society by nurturing kindness in the hearts of children.

The week of cakes with the main ingredients of care, compassion and hope is coming to an end, but our thanks are not ending. This time we send our boundless gratitude to the community of Juoz Urbšis progimnazijas Kaunas for the extended support, encouragement and smiles . We wish to continue to sow the seeds of kindness, from which the joyful fruits of kindness sprout, and to not stop believing that sincere and wholehearted actions can change the world and fill it with security, hope and compassion.

We have received a very moving letter from Kaunas Martynas Mažvydas Progymnasium, which we would like to share. Vitalija Savickienė, the curator of the Leaders' Club, wrote:
After receiving the invitation of the "Rugutė" foundation to participate in the noble support campaign "Pyragės diena 2022 for the children of "Rugutės", we decided to organize it on November 10 at Martynas Mažvydas pro-gymnasium in Kaunas. On this day, the "Cake Fair" was held at the school. From the very morning, the entire progymnasium was surrounded by the smell of home-baked cakes, cupcakes, cookies and other extremely delicious baked goods. More than one student or teacher, lured by him, bought and kept coming back to buy more of the sweets they liked the most. It's even amazing how quickly the heavily loaded tables were emptied. So we are glad that this support campaign really succeeded in our school. During it, almost 400 euros were collected, which have already been transferred to the "Rugutė" fund. We are glad that such actions help to increase good, to focus on noble goals."
We sincerely thank the entire Martynas Mažvydas Gymnasium community for their focus on each and every child, who has faced strong challenges. We are sure that this experience will give the students the ability to see not only the joys of life, but also the difficulties that arise and to face them with courage, to be empathetic and to understand the importance of compassion.
This year, the staff of AB Kauno Tiltai also sent cake-scented greetings to sick children. This company has been a long-standing supporter of Rugutė for many years before St. They have been donating to the most important cause in a child's life struggle for many years.

We hasten to thank UAB Actiofarma and UAB "Lakameda" collectives. Thank you that together we will be able to lend a helping hand to a child who is going through an illness.
