PLAY-DOX plasticine kits

Children with cancer face great challenges - long treatments, constant treatments, fear and sadness.

Last week we rushed in with a variety of PLAY-DOX plasticine kits. Creative activities in the hospital are not only fun, but also an important therapeutic activity. By touching the soft and squishy plasticine, children not only develop their creativity but also express feelings that are sometimes difficult to put into words. Concentrating on the creative process gives children the feeling that they can create something and have control over it, even if their daily lives are full of uncertainty. The first person to try out the kits was Kamilė, whom you may already know. To help her not to feel so sad about her cancer journey, we also gave her some lovely, gentle friends.

As always, we are eternally, eternally grateful to our supporters for the opportunity to accompany children on the path of a complex illness. And to the children who are facing the autumn chill in hospital, we send warmth and a Ruthenian wish for a favourable wind.

Do you have any ideas on how to help seriously ill children?
