Special thanks

We would like to thank you all for the financial support and for your kindness, for believing in us and for praying for us. Rugilė's dreams could have come true just because of you. You were the only ones who had helped us to escape from the terrible pain and to take some pleasure of careless childhood. You were the only ones who had inspired us for fighting, for giving the best care to our daughter, and for visiting various doctors. We always were warmed with the heat of your hearts. Rugilė and me always used to read all your letters. My daughter was very glad with them and used to say: the more hearts I have the better I feel…

We would like to thank MD Mr. A. Čekuolis, MD radiologist Mrs. E. Stašienė, MD Mr. M. Trakymas. They helped us to show pediatric surgeons more modern ways of diagnostics and treatment of children cancer.

We want to give special thanks to Mrs. MD Sonata Trakymienė for constant support, friendship and backing during the hardest moments. She was the only one whom I could call at night with my question “how children dye”. She was the only one who promised to keep the phone for the whole night beside.

We thank nurses for almost two-year-long care of Rugilė.

We also thank Mrs. Loreta Welch (Little Heart Foundation) and her husband MD G. R. Welch for expressing wonderful feelings to our daughter, for hugs, for financial support, for efforts and for dedication in consulting our doctors oncohematologists.

Lot’s of thanks to Mr Olegas Niaksu (www.biliardas.lt), Ms. Ramunė Čičirkaitė (www.news.lt), supermom forum for moms (www.supermama.com), Ms. Alina (www.sveikas.lt), Mr. Tomas (www.emigrantas.com), for placing our help request in their web pages.

Lina Muizienė, Jolanta Sadauskienė, Rasa Almantienė, thank you all for love and care, for lot’s of kind conversations and meetings during our long treatment.

And finally, thank you all who have called, written, and sent presents. Your attention to us gave us power to fight against the disease, your belief in us didn’t let us break, and your love gave us silence and peace.

Thank you.

Sincerelly Yours,
Edita ir Dainoras Abrukauskai
