Thank you for being united

(MT)

Our repeated saying "One in the field - not a soldier" has taken on an even deeper meaning in the whirlwind of current events. So when I took the medication I ordered for Ukrainian children affected by oncological disease, I both moaned and smiled at the same time.

Thank YOU all for your communion, compassion, empathy. Thank you for being united and relying on each other’s shoulders. Each box of these medicines, each capsule contains YOUR faith, hope and support.

I bow low to Jokūbas Malikėnas, a pharmacist at the Amber Pharmacy (Rygos St. 1), not only for his constant help to children in Lithuania, but also for the time he spent in finding and ordering medicines for young patients in Ukraine.
