Do you remember how on September 23rd we sent prayers and messages of support when the miracle of life – stem cells donated by a Lithuanian citizen – entered little Liepa's body? Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation is one of the most difficult stages of the journey through the disease.
At that time, I promised Liepa to be there and take care of her as much as she needed. Therefore, today, seeing the curious, mischievous, determined Liepa who only comes to the Children's Oncohematology Center for check-ups is a breath of meaning to stay on this path. Liepa is growing. She is getting stronger. She is a little ambassador, sending a message of HOPE and FAITH to everyone who takes the first steps on this path.
