Thank you to the pupils of Luk\u0161i\u0173 Vincas Grybas Gymnasium for providing cakes and thoughts for children with oncological diseases, and to the teachers for their compassion and tolerance. Today, activities to mark Tolerance Day took place in the gymnasium. The youngest children - preschoolers \"Smalsiukai\", pre-schoolers and first-graders - made a symbol of the Tolerance Day - a house out of paper. The dancers danced the friendship dance \"I see you\". And most importantly, pupils from grades 2 to 3g sold their baked cakes. There is a joyful excitement in seeing children helping children. Then you realise how strong, empathetic, sensitive, creative and united they all are, and how they are able to move mountains and overcome even the most difficult obstacles. 15 November On November 15, Kaunas Jurgis Dobkevi\u010dius Progymnasium was filled with the smell of cakes - a traditional kindness campaign was organised for the sick children of Rugut\u0117 Foundation. Students from all grades bustled around with their baked cakes at the \"Cake Day\" fair. Our vendors were as creative as possible in selling their baked goods to raise as much money as possible for a worthy cause - to give back to the Rugut\u0117 Foundation to help children with oncological diseases. This Friday, 18 November at 15:00. It is said that early childhood is the time when key skills and habits are formed. It is encouraging to see that more and more educational institutions are actively shaping the model of a sensitive and empathetic society by nurturing kindness in the hearts of children.<\/p>

Our warmest thanks go to the community of Kaunas kindergarten \"Rokutis\". Thank you for the compassion that touches our hearts, thank you for the smile of a sick child when she reaches the most advanced nursing care in time, and thank you for the most important weapon in her fight against the disease - medicines.<\/p>

Today is #PyragusDay in Kaunas kindergarten \"Pasaka\". <\/br>\n\ud83e\udd67 For our community, the smell of the miracles means togetherness, a coming together to help children who have been diagnosed with a complex illness. \ud83c\udf70But the most important message of the day is that everyone who bakes or tastes the delicacies will feel support for a child affected by a serious illness and will share the belief that even the biggest obstacles can be overcome (Rugut\u0117, 2022).<\/br>\n\u2728\ufe0fAtjautos, the feeling of closeness and togetherness is strong and this is proved by the 654 euros raised by OUR INSTITUTION THANKS TO THE COMMUNITY. 15 November The corridors of Kaunas Pil\u0117nai Progymnasium were filled with the smell of cakes baked by pupils, their parents and teachers, and the \"Cake Day\" fair was bustling. On Friday, we had a cake day. This year's goal was to collect donations for Rugut\u0117, an organisation that cares for children with cancer. The campaign was a triumph and we will calculate the financial impact on Monday, but it is already clear that the amount will be significant. And we all stayed full and happy! A lot of time and love went into the deliciousness, decoration and packaging of the cakes and other baked goods, so that not only the most important - social - goal was achieved, but also many personal goals. We have received a very moving letter from Kaunas Martynas Ma\u017evydas Progymnasium, which we would like to share. Vitalija Savickien\u0117, the curator of the Leaders' Club, wrote:<\/p>

After receiving the invitation of the \"Rugut\u0117\" foundation to participate in the noble support campaign \"Pyrag\u0117s diena 2022 for the children of \"Rugut\u0117s\", we decided to organize it on November 10 at Martynas Ma\u017evydas pro-gymnasium in Kaunas. On this day, the \"Cake Fair\" was held at the school. From the very morning, the entire progymnasium was surrounded by the smell of home-baked cakes, cupcakes, cookies and other extremely delicious baked goods. More than one student or teacher, lured by him, bought and kept coming back to buy more of the sweets they liked the most. It's even amazing how quickly the heavily loaded tables were emptied. So we are glad that this support campaign really succeeded in our school. During it, almost 400 euros were collected, which have already been transferred to the \"Rugut\u0117\" fund. We are glad that such actions help to increase good, to focus on noble goals.\"<\/em><\/p>

We sincerely thank the entire Martynas Ma\u017evydas Gymnasium community for their focus on each and every child, who has faced strong challenges.
